This rudder feedback unit transmits separate variable-frequency and voltage signals proportional to the rudder angle, for use by Simrad autopilot systems and rudder angle indicators. It is mounted close to the rudder stock and is mechanically connected to the rudder by a transmission link in a 1:1 ratio.
